A comment on Most Dangerous Vehicles

The assumptions made in the criteria for what is dangerous and what isn't are a staggering example of political correctness invading every aspect of our life. Wouldn't the completely accurate and absurdly simple record of deaths in particular vehicles be a much more revealing statistic? Of course it would but then they couldn't bash SUV's, that demon of suburbia. Half the so called SUV's on the road are little more than station wagons with AWD and they are no less stable than other vehicles including especially minivans. Of course you could include data about how many of a particular vehicle are actually on the road. A simple ratio of deaths per vehicle would tell you the truth about the real most dangerous vehicles. But that would make too much sense and it would eliminate the possibility of including the politically correct bias of Forbes Magazine which published this voodoo statistics article.
